Cookie Policy
Last updated 26 August 2026.
This site uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies at all times, and — only if you accept them in the cookie banner — Google Analytics cookies to help us understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are never set until you actively accept them; ignoring or closing the banner is treated the same as not consenting.
Strictly necessary
These are technical cookies required for the website to function — for example, cookies used by our hosting provider to route requests securely, or a cookie recording that you have submitted the membership application form to prevent accidental duplicate submissions. These do not require consent under UK law, because the website cannot work properly without them, and we do not use them to track you across other websites.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — for example, which pages are viewed and how people move through the site. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. We have not enabled any Google advertising features on this property, and we do not use analytics data to identify you personally.
You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the site footer, which lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Rejecting them, or never accepting, means Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
Third parties
Submitting the membership application form sends your application to us via a third-party transactional email provider. That provider does not set cookies in your browser as part of this process. Where you’ve consented to analytics, Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited; see Google’s own privacy policy for how Google processes analytics data.
Managing cookies
You can also control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Rejecting or deleting strictly necessary cookies may affect how well the site works; rejecting analytics cookies will not.
